I lead residential singing retreats and weekends for all levels of experience. We gather in beautiful places close to nature, between earth and sky, and share our voices with each other – and with the birds, the wind, the trees and the hills.
If all things have a vibration, we might think of singing as a reciprocal process. How, when we sing, are we responding to the particular place in which we find ourselves? And how does it respond to us? How might singing with a sense of ourselves as vibrating bodies within a landscape support us to feel at home here? And how might singing together help open us up to the experience of enchantment, a receptivity to the magic of the world?
